Blanchard Springs Caverns

Blanchard Springs gushes year round from the Amazing Blanchard Springs Caverns. It initiates Mill Creek and then Mirror Lake and over a scenic waterfall. Don’t miss this beautiful spot the next time you are in the Ozarks or Visiting Mountain View Arkansas!

Next time you are in Moutain View, Arkansas, take time to visit the Blanchard Springs Caverns.  If you can, take the longer and more strenuous, but very much worthwhile, Discovery Tour.  1.2 miles long, with some climbing.  In any event, the caverns are awesome.  It amazes me that an entire world of astonishing beauty lies beneath us.  As much as I would love to explore outer space, our inner spaces are probably even more worthy of attention, and every bit as fascinating. Blanchard Springs Caverns offers three tours – the beautiful Dripstone Trail, the rugged Discovery Trail, and the strenuous Wild Cave Tour. The Visitor Center houses an introductory movie, exhibit hall, and the Ozark Interpretive Association gift shop. The namesake Blanchard Springs pours forth from an imposing rock bluff.

Whatever you do, don't miss this incredible natural wonder when visiting Mountain View Arkansas. The caverns are magnificent and the other features in the National Park, including Mill Creek, Mirror Lake & Falls and the Old Stone Mill are spectacular as well…..

Good morning and Happy New Year! This morning I was honored to find my website’s photo and text on your Blanchard Springs Cavern page. Perhaps I overlooked it, but I did not see any mention of my website (www.wewillsee.us) as your source. The source of the Blanchard Springs photo and text is found at http://www.wewillsee.us/?p=4226. I heartily approve your website, and my admiration would be enhanced if you include a link to my website or at least a brief mention of the source. True, my website is mostly about Texas, but extends beyond our borders. In fact, i have two Arkansas-related entries. For your purposes my site might be considered one of your Historical and Informational Websites. Again, you have a very good site, and I thank you for the compliment of using my material. I do appreciate whatever publicity you can give my own site by name. Wishing you a wonderful 2011! William Holmes, Arlington, Texas. Website: “We’ll See.” http://www.wewillsee.us
